Punishment is over

Well, there are good things to report!

Dr. Ledbury called me last night (7 p.m. bless his heart) to tell me that CJ's blood work was great! Said he thought I'd rather know sooner than later that he was also clear for leukemia/FIV, which he was concerned about, given that CJ is an outdoor cat.

Then, this morning my CJ man was waiting on me like normal and he looked like he felt much better! He took his first dose of medicine like a trooper (even though he wasn't happy about it) and we shared petties and I told him about his labwork.

The only thing he did differently was to run under the tree and hide from me right before I got in the car to leave. I think he was worried that I was going to take him to the bad place again.
