New Jacob story

Jacob has a new trick.

In the mornings, if I don't get up early/fast enough to suit him, he has started pulling the books out of my bookshelf and throwing them on the floor. (Picture him digging in my bookshelf like a dog digging for a bone.)

He will then stop for a moment, look at me, screech, and continue if I ignore him.

Well, I ignored him one time too often and the other day I heard, "rip, rip!" You know that got my attention. He was pulling pages out of my books with his teeth!

I can't get angry with him.

My vet heard this story yesterday and just laughed and laughed. No matter WHAT Jacob does, Dr. Ledbury always takes his side. Hmmpphhh...
