Clarabelle
I am saddened to write that Ms. Clarabelle (seen on the right) passed away last night. I am searching for a new girl bird to be a companion to Pancho (seen on the left). He is in mourning, and I don't dare let him be alone too long. I will be posting stories about my bird babies in the days to come.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about Clarabelle. You are such a terrific Mama to the animals. I have to admit that I wouldn't have a clue how to take care of birds. I'm actually a little bit afraid of them! I'm always afraid they will peck me!!
My cousin, Gina, has three dogs and a bird and she is very devoted to all of them.
We had canaries and parochets when I was a child and I wasn't afraid of them. The parochet was really funny. We would let him out of the cage and he would find us and dive bomb us. Of course, we thought that was hysterical :)
